"Room 518 was poorly kept. The net curtains were black from never being cleaned, air conditioning unit has never been cleaned, a single seater chair thats never been cleaned as its thick with black caked on dirt and is full of dust/dead bugs and the shower was either boiling hot or ice cold nothing inbetween. I had my wife and 2 year old with me and just as we had settled it would have been a pain to move rooms. Told reception in the morning who couldnt care less( think her name was nisha(but she was indian)) absolute poor service from her and she shouldnt be in hospitality. "

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our initial room had several moths, which was not ideal. We were aware that a wedding was taking place at the hotel; however, the music was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep. As we were travelling with four young children, this made the situation particularly challenging. To their credit, the staff handled the situation well and moved us to a room on the fourth floor, which we were grateful for. That said, it was unreasonable to expect guests to pay for a room where the noise levels made it so difficult to rest."

"We enjoyed our very short stay and would like to return for longer next time. The lodge had everything we needed and our children loved the bunk beds. We all enjoyed feeding the animals in the morning the next day. "

"The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay."

"Our stay was perfect, the cottage was clean, warm (Feb) comfortable, all the home from home comforts, which make your stay very welcoming. I grew up in the area. So was familiar with everything, however the cottages host was more than helpful. We would highly recommend stay here."

"We booked this place for my husbands 70 th birthday! Ideal location for family to get to, just off the M4! Tom the host was outstanding, extremely helpful and very attentive, cannot fault him! The barn was fab. We hired a private chef for a celebratory family meal and he had no complaints with the kitchen, everything was provided that he needed. Great dining area, just what we needed for our celebration and of course the pool table and gaming chair were a complete hit with Everyone! A Great place to stay!!"

"The property is lovely for families. We had 15 in our party for our Wedding Celebrations.We chose this house for its facilities and because, our family members were flying into Heathrow and driving down from the Midlands.We played Football, Tennis Basketball and Hide and.seek on our first night. We prepared and, ate a meal at the table. The beds were very, very comfortable. On Saturday we went into Maidenhead.for.the Wedding Ceremony but spent the afternoon eating, relaxing in the garden, the pool and playing a rather competetive game.of football. Dominoes supplied our evening meal so haapy kids.More relaxing on Sunday with family departing but, all so happy to meet up in such a wonderful setting. Even the weather was wonderful. The house, the garden, and the wonderful facilities will become part of the family folklore for all the right reasons"
