"I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. "

"Excellent location close to the Byes which are lovely. The house is nice and well equipped and good value. As others have described parking is a nightmare, total luck if you get a spot and if you don't, then expect at least 5 minutes walk from the next nearest option. Nothing the owners can do about this but be aware. What is less clear from the description is that the garden is not directly accessed from the back door. There is a shared pathway directly outside the back door and the garden is a few yards to the right, so if you have a dog you cannot just let it out."

"Lovely cottage in beautiful settings. Absolutely clean and well maintained with comfortable beds. We utilised the game room and enjoyed to have the option to play table tennis or pool. However, the room seemed lacking love. Personally, I belive the fitness centre should not be advertised. Shame there is no place for the Appletree cottage occupants to do a bbq as no dedicated outside enclosed space, (the garden is within the other rental properties). We had an overall restful and enjoyable long weekend. "
