"The dolphin hotel - great value for money and excellent location with a 2 minute walk to the beach ! I came here with my partner and 2 dogs and we had a wonderful time the bar and restaurant has been refurbished and has a great atmosphere I was initially worried about he negative reviews but we found out it is now under new management, the staff were amazing and very welcoming and couldn't do more for you the rooms were basic but clean great selection of teas coffees biscuits ect replenished every day , we had a complimentary breakfast every morning which was lovely would definitely stay here again"

"I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. "

"Excellent location close to the Byes which are lovely. The house is nice and well equipped and good value. As others have described parking is a nightmare, total luck if you get a spot and if you don't, then expect at least 5 minutes walk from the next nearest option. Nothing the owners can do about this but be aware. What is less clear from the description is that the garden is not directly accessed from the back door. There is a shared pathway directly outside the back door and the garden is a few yards to the right, so if you have a dog you cannot just let it out."

"Staff were lovely, room was small, especially the bathroom but nice, nice and quiet, great location 5 mins walk to the beach. The only bad thing was my other half had breakfast and said not nice was overcooked. And limited parking but right outside so that’s a bonus "
