The 9/11 “Tribute in lights” is an annual event to commemorate those who perished on that tragic day. 88 xenon lights illuminate the sky to replicate the The World Trade Center twin towers. The lights are visible for an 11 mile radius. A misconception is that these lights emanate from the two reflecting pools in ground zero. (I was guilty of this as well) but they are actually located at the top of the battery Park garage in lower Manhattan. Once again let’s never forget the thousands who lost their lives also the greater number of family and friends that they left behind.

"Older property, clean, well kept, staff was friendly, airport transfers went well. It was everything we needed. There is a bus that stops by the hotel and it will take you to/from Jamaica Queens subway station and from there you can head into NYC"
