"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gilvenbank Hotel and would highly recommend it. There are plenty of well lit parking spaces and it is lovely and quiet. The staff are so friendly, helpful and very cheery, including the house cleaners, waitresses, receptionists and bar staff. We stayed in room 4 on the upper floor and loved it as it's very spacious, clean and has a comfy bed. Our breakfasts and meals at night were so tasty and we loved the large portions. There is a good variety to choose from. The service all staff provide is excellent and thank you to all for this as it made our stay enjoyable and we will be back."

Pub close had good deals with friendly helpful staff (shout out to wendy for helping with postage and other local questions) Breakfast had a good selection, was quick for service and tasted good."
