"The hotel was in a very good location. The staff were very helpfull. Rooms were very clean and the shower was excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Can not comment on breakfast as we did'nt book it. From the information on the booking site and images it appeared that fried eggs were not part of the breakfast offer. Lovely hotel and will certainly book there again when in Madrid"

"The hotel is located on Plaza de España with immediate access to the metro and the bus transport system. The hotel is located next to Gran Via, which has multiple free buses. The hotel is beautiful. Our room had a view of the plaza. The room is well planned with two closets for storing belongings. The hotel breakfast was lovely with a large variety of foods. We had massages in the hotel spa and they were fabulous. Our providers were very professional and the massages were top quality. We also use the pool and the sauna and enjoyed both. The pool has a nice view and is a pleasant temperature. We enjoyed a LUXURY experience. There is no shuttle to and from the airport although Expedia states that there is one. For airport transport we took the Metro to the hotel and we took a taxi from the hotel. This was a trip for my birthday and the hotel helped me celebrate with a surprise of balloons, treats, and sparkling wine."
