"The pool was open, though construction trailers surrounding the area did seem inviting. The room itself had been totally renovated but the building and the office left a lot to be desired. Staff was friendly. Right across the street there is a selection of eateries and shops. Easy walk to to down nightlife and more restaurants and shops. The beach is also an easy walk. "

"There were several restaurants, a wonderful grocery store, and of course the beach were all within walking distance. The staff were extraordinarily attentive. The muffins for breakfast were dry on one day and amazing on the next. The room didn't have any hand or body lotion like I'm used to seeing in most hotels, but the proximity to the ocean made it less of a necessity. "

"We had a fantastic experience! Tom was amazing. Our flight arrived in the morning and Tom had text me the day before our arrival to let me know we could check in early, giving us what felt like a whole extra day. The property was just as shown, very cute and GREAT location. It took us about ten minutes to walk to the beach.The beach accessories were a big bonus. We were amazed with how clean everything was. That’s hard to do with sand, but they do! Would absolutely recommend and stay here again."

"I spent 4 nights at The Inn at Moonlight Beach and I was still not ready to leave! Every morning I took a nice long stroll down Moonlight beach, and stopped off for coffee at Lofty. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. I stayed in Sweet Bay, which had nice high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen and a large soaking tub. All of the touches were so well thought out. I loved the sound machine with the sound of waves in the background of my entire stay. The cute beach bag was used daily. There is no doubt I will return!"

"From the outside, it doesn’t look like much. But the view of the beach and the ocean from the balcony is stunning. The inside of the rooms is updated and nice. The beds are huge and have really nice mattresses. The staff were super friendly. This was a real find. We were very happy with our stay. "

"This place was perfect for our family of 4, with plenty of room for extra people, if needed. The sun deck is an amazing spot to hang out any time of day, but especially at sunset! The kitchen had everything we needed, and was well-marked so we didn't have to guess. We were walking distance to a store and restaurant, and about a mile, easy walk, from the beach and downtown Encinitas. We visit here often, and I'm hopeful to never have to book another property, and hope this can be our go-to whenever we return! "
