This hotel was phenomenal.The check in person so was good.Gave lots of advice.Breakfast and dinner are available.The room was so cozy and gave amenties like water,sweets and biscuit.The room was very clean.The room had laminated pamphlets sheets of information about breakfast,bus times,Thoverton and Exeter town information etc.There is a pub below the rooms which is quite busy in the evenings to nights.This place is well taken care of and they take care of their guests.It is an exceptional place to stay.I stayed 1 night.Imagine if I had stayed longer.I would return.

Lovely over night stay

The shower looks a little tired other than that the staff were very nice and accommodating. Perfect for a over night stay whilst working way. The surroundings in the village were very peaceful. Just about 10-15 minutes from Exeter City Center

Great stay!

The room was very cosy and clean. The bed was comfy and we both slept really well (in part because it was so quiet too). Massive TV with all streaming services available, tea and coffee making facilities and a powerful electric shower. The room could do with a little bit of touching up and maintenance but this was greatly outweighed by everything mentioned above. We had a few drinks in the pub both nights we were there and the staff were friendly and helpful. Spacious car park available too. Overall, really nice stay and would stay again!

This is a very lovely historic building and as such is quaint and quirky (creaky floors and sticky windows) but that is all character. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the service very friendly and excellent. Breakfast choices a bit limited but very nicely done. A beautiful village to have a wander around. Would use it again as a convenient stopover.

Amazing location, very quiet and just what I needed after a hard days work. The staff are fantastic, the foods even better. Lots of local drinks available, I was very pleased I chose this location. The room I had was small, but my colleagues was much bigger but that’s the luck of the draw! Overall, I’d highly recommend this location!

Bathroom could use a little TLC but fit for purpose. Amazing breakfast that more than made up for any minor cosmetic items. The land-people, actually all of the staff were so welcoming. Definitely worth a visit or night over.
