This is a beautiful property. Close enough to Breckenridge and other small towns to adventure, hike and shop but also in a quiet neighborhood to relax at night. Well stocked with everything you need. Loved the hot tub in the evenings after hiking all day. Also enjoyed watching movies in the theater room. Would stay here again for sure! Thanks for sharing your property with us!
We loved this house. It met all our needs and more. It was beautifully set up and had lots of amenities. Our teens loved having the movie room and parents oved the hottub. Plenty of space to hang out together or off alone. We weren’t clear about where trash went because navigation took us to different gate. Tried messaging but didn’t get clear answer. We drove around and finally found it.

Definitely more Cons than Pros for this property
Things I loved: Comfortable beds, Clean towels & linens, Hot tub was clean and hot, Views were very pretty.
Now for the actual review and the truth of overall property:
I took photos and sent to Vacasa because they requested them. The exterior had so much trash scattered and didn't appear to be serviced in quite some time. There was trash, beer, and liquor bottles laying everywhere on the porch, on the ground near the porch, and in the yard areas. There was a dirty pan and dirty cooking utensils near the bbq pit. The exterior furniture hadn't been cleaned off evidently in a very long time, we couldn't even sit on the furniture to enjoy the views. The windows in the house are big and beautiful, but extremely dirty. The cobwebs are overwhelming throughout the house. Multiple dead bugs throughout the house just lying on the floors in different areas. For the sake of aesthetics, someone should at least ensure the rugs are straight and tucked under the furniture where they belong, they were all buckled and just looked like someone didn't care. The garbage can in the kitchen was gross and hadn't been cleaned. A new bag was in it, but there was food and other particles very visible. The chairs on the porch were all turned over and scattered. The porch areas were dirty like they hadn't been blown or swept off in forever. There was a dirty coffee cup sitting at the front door on the porch when we arrived. There was just no care taken in how this place looked for our arrival -- it wasn't inviting at all and we only stayed one night because of it. I would never stay here again. The photo on the advertisement does not reflect what's actually there. It looks like a nice cabin with exterior upkeep, but in reality, it's grown up, congested, and dirty. I know the listing indicates this, but just be aware that there is no A/C, if you are going in the summer time, it gets warm during the day even when you close the blinds. I hope they Owners make this right for future guests, but our experience was less than ok.
This spacious home had everything we were looking for during our mountain vacation. The views are breathtaking! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for meals. We loved using the hot tub every night as well.

Fairplay Funcation
We chose this property as it was close to friends living in the area. It was a great home base for our daytrip adventures in Fairplay, Buena Vista, Salida, and Breckenridge. The bathrooms and kitchen are well stocked with everything you need. The house is spacious and has great views. We loved the upper deck for drinking coffee/wine and spotting wildlife. We saw a baby moose the first morning. The house could easily accommodate 10+ people but is only approved for 6. I wish you could have as many people as there are beds! The only issue we had was finding the community trash compactor. Make note, there are 2 neighborhood entrances, CR 5 and CR20. The trash compactor is at the CR20 neighborhood entrance.
We chose this property for its proximity to friends living in the area. It was a great home base for our various daytrip adventures in Fairplay, Buena Vista, Salida, and Breckenridge. The house is beautiful and spacious with lots of outdoor relaxation spots and beautiful views. The 5 bathrooms are well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo etc. The kitchen is also stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. We started and ended each day with coffee/wine on the upper deck wildlife watching. Saw a baby moose the first morning. There was some miscommunication with property management on what to do with any trash. After talking with our neighbors we finally found the community trash compactor at the CR20 entrance, not the CR5 entrance. This house could easily accommodate 10 people but is only approved by VRBO/Vacasa for 6 people. I wish you could have as many people as there are beds! We had a great trip and would recommend this property.
