"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rathaus Wein & Design during our week in Vienna. We were traveling as three generations: grandma, mom, and daughter, and the hotel was a great choice for all of us. The location was excellent. We were able to explore so much of Vienna using public transportation and walking, and we loved coming back each day to the quieter Josefstadt neighborhood. It gave us easy access to the major sights without feeling like we were staying in the middle of a busy tourist area. The hotel has so much personality. We loved the wine theme and the unique design throughout the property. It felt warm, comfortable, and distinctly Viennese rather than like a large chain hotel. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. After long days exploring Vienna, it was wonderful to return to a place where we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Most importantly, Hotel Rathaus Wein & Design became part of the experience of our trip. This was a very special week for my mother, daughter, and me, and we will have wonderful memories of our time in Vienna."

"Rooms were a bit dated but the overall feel was great. Comfortable beds were very nice. Only note is that in the bathroom was a smell that seemed to come from the sewer piping which was unpleasant. A few light bulbs were missing in the track light but it was manageable. The staff was stellar with service!"
