"The room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were so-so. Parking was $40 a day per vehicle and there was no breakfast included. Convenient location to access events/conferences in DC. The person in the room next to us was screaming one of the nights we stayed so we phoned staff to voice concerns. Presumably they handled it because the person quieted down soon after. Gets the job done and was a pleasant stay!"

"Great staff and very nice hotel. Had to pay for coffee and consistently ask for water (no refill bottle options). Window cover was broken and had to be removed. Fantastic concierge and tour of the hotel’s nostalgic history. Room was clean and view of the river couldn’t be beat. "

"Annette and Yorum in Tobert’s restaurant are superb. They go above and beyond to make one feel welcome. It is my DC home ! The Easter brunch was fantastic!"

"The property is clean but OLD and needs a facelift! The location was the main reason and lobby was nice but as you get to the elevator u feel it’s old hotel and once u get to the room u feel like you have been exported back in time as the carpet is old, furniture is old. Doors and windows are NOT soundproof and the walls are thin .., you can hear other people passing by or in the next rooms 🙈"

"Staff are really nice. Great location. A few restaurants within walking distance. Very close to Georgetown. We took an Uber there. This was our second time staying here. We will be back. Didn’t see a pool. "

Other conveniences less accessible however. Although the room was comfortable and clean, decor lacked much appeal and there was no mini-fridge. "

"Great location near the metro for quick and easy access to DC. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly, and great breakfast. Price for parking was less as well compared to other hotels in the area. Would stay again if I ever go back to this area"

"Room was well maintained, staff was professional and helfpful with direct questions however, when we checked in (after midnight) the person had dozed off. They informed of us of the parking fee however, did not tell us about the additional parking if the (small lot) was full. We spent 30 minutes one evening driving around the block trying to find parking. When we asked at the front desk later about additional parking we were informed of the parking garage and back parking that we had no clue about. Overall a great stay, just some lack of communication."
