Let me start out by staying Marty, one of the property co-owners/property managers could not have been nicer and more accommodating, as well as a good communicator. We had a couple of things go wrong while there, but he was right on top of it. There is a crack in the main level tub that renders it unusable, however Marty let me know this in advance that they were looking into a fix. From a location standpoint, the property is extremely remote and a bit difficult to get to, and is very private on a remote one lane road in a development that never really developed. It allows plenty of natural light and the feeling of being in a treehouse.
From an overall rating standpoint, I cannot give this property more than a 3.5 to 4 star rating. The home is nice, has great bones and potential, but needs a total makeover from a decor/furnishings standpoint. Most all the furniture/decor is very old, drab, worn out, and uncomfortable. Additionally, the old creaky antique bed and mattress on the main level is completely shot and probably the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever sleep in. I’m talking very bad! The other bedrooms have newer and very comfortable mattresses, so our other guests sleep comfortably, so it’s the main level only that needs replacing. That’s my review in a nutshell. They need to drop about $15k - $20k on new bed/mattress and furnishings, as well as replace the main level tub and this would be a 5 star property. Just keeping it real.
