"Hotel is in amazing Peak District area. Located above the pub but we wasnt bothered about any noice. Room and amenities are a bit dated but its comfy and pleasant. Its great for the location."

"A well decorated, comfortable cottage in Hope village and we enjoyed our stay.
We had some difficulties with communication initially though that appears down to Hotels.com as opposed to the host. I ended up making contact on an alternative rental platform and from then on the host was quick to respond to my messages. There is no welcome book in the cottage so there was no indication as how to leave the property or where to put recycling etc which would have been helpful. Having both a bath mat and hand soap in each bathroom would also have been useful. There was also no tea bags or instant coffee in the property. I had assumed this was the norm as I have never not had it supplied before, especially given it wasn’t a cheap listing, but that could be solved the following day when the shops were open. "
"We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. We ate in the restaurant the 1st evening and the food was very nice and service good. The breakfast was really nice and is cooked to order. Again service was fabulous. The 2nd evening we went to the curry cabin for a meal and we had a lovely meal. Food and service again was great. Was nice to see everywhere so busy."

"Bradwell is a great location for visiting the Peak District: it's close to many of the popular hikes, but it doesn't feel overrun with other tourists. The house was very well set up and comfortable. "
