Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka

"I initially had a poor impression of the hotel due to slow internet but it turned out to be temporary. The staff was very responsive and the hotel clean and very quiet. Because the hotel is in an entertainment area, restaurants tend to be expensive but there is a building across the main street in front of the hotel that has dozens of restaurants offering varied and affordable fare. My experience of the hotel and its location (within walking distance of Osaka station and major department stores ) was overall excellent."
THE BLOSSOM KYOTO

"The Blossom was a true Experience for us. It is what we imagined a modern Japanese hotel would be like. Rooms are spacious, and tastefully appointed. The decor, Onsen in the basement, provided Yukata with instructions all suggested we are in Japan. The staff are very helpful and respectful. Any amenities you may imagine from forgotten shavers, hairbrushes, toothbrushes etc to beauty products are present in the room. They did not have coffee in room, but we could access the basement lounge anytime with state of the art Nespresso beverage dispenser, juice, ice cream etc. This was our best experience in Japan, having stayed in 3 hotels here. We are one stop away from Kyoto Station on the Karasuma line. Get off at Gojo station The in house restaurant was very good. We had seared Salmon and the seasonal fish (Spanish mackerel with clams). The salmon was excellent, mackerel was mackerel. We only wish we could stay there longer."

"Nicely located across from the main train station used by many large tour operators . The restaurant is crowded due to this reason for breakfast . Very friendly staff , large size rooms for Asia . No flexibility in check in or checkout time"
