"This was the third hotel we stayed at in Oxford, and it was by far the best. From the moment we arrived, with a clearly marked parking space ready for us, the service was attentive and helpful throughout our brief stay. The interior décor blends classic elegance with modern touches, including some beautiful contemporary paintings. Our room had a wonderfully comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, and a breathtaking view over the High Street and the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. If it weren’t for the modern traffic below, it would have felt like stepping back in time. While it was windy and dark outside, the hotel’s warm, peaceful atmosphere made us feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast in The Quad Restaurant was excellent – a perfect way to start the day. A truly great hotel that we would be happy to return to. "

"We really enjoyed the location of the hotel, it's easy to access the city center and there are great cafes and pubs nearby. It's a self check-in hotel, but the procedure is very easy, we had no problems with that. Also the staff is very nice and kind and it was easy to send them a message and they've replied very quickly. The room was very nice and clean, it had great water pressure in the shower and the bed was comfortable. The only downside for us was that the front door to the property and the doors to the rooms were banging very loudly, if you didn't hold them while closing. We were staying in the room on the first floor just next to the entrance, so we were woken up many times by those doors. "
