The room was plenty spacious to accommodate our family of 4 (with two teenagers) and the included dinner and breakfast in the separate restaurant (with private rooms) were delicious. We felt very spoiled! We loved the public baths and did not opt to go to the private bath rooms as we basically had the entire public bath area to ourselves. "Gorgeous room, but not a tattoo friendly onsen. Luckily the tub was big and deep. Not a lot of restaurants or shops around but its a good location away from the crowds and easy access to the ropeways. "
