"The hotel was clean and comfortable, the food and drink was great, The only downside is the guest room that we stayed in was quite dated and the floor creaked all over as did the adjacent rooms floors so was noisy to move around in."

Smashing Sunday lunch and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady behind the bar who checked us in. Only issue was no lift and the stairs are quite steep, so definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Would not hesitate to recommend and will stay again. "

"Great choice for 5-night stay in Berwick - I paid a bit more for a larger double room and appreciated the space and furnishings. Great location, well-appointed room and very comfortable bed. Although it's self-check-in, the staff are available on phone and text and very helpful. Continental breakfast hamper and fridge in room were a nice bonus."
