"The location was good, right by shopping centre, with a regular bus that runs to both Margate and Ramsgate.
The room was quite basic, the beds were hard and lumpy with pillows as uncomfortable too. I barely slept the first night. There was also a lot of mould, especially in the bathroom, and basics like a hairdryer was missing, as was the information to call reception about the missing hairdryer. I ended up popping across the road to reception to ask for one, which did arrive about 30 minutes later.
I paid for the breakfast, and in hindsight would have left it and gone to one of the many places over the road. The avocado and poached egg on toast was quite disappointing with a cheap sliced bread with processed avocado. Purchasing ahead reduced the cost, I'd have been really disappointed if I'd paid full price. The second day I ordered the pancakes which were much better.
The staff were lovely though, and all very helpful. Can't fault the people who worked there."
