"The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. "Mostly very clean, except sliding glass doors. Would have cleaned myself but no cleaning materials on site. Wanted to love this place. We have stayed in other units but were delighted to find a first floor unit. The good: well equipped, comfortable, plenty of towels, and beach stuff. Nice patio area. The bad: communication was awful. Don't know if the problem is with the owner or RedAwning. "We had a WONDERFUL stay, rooms were comfortable and super clean!! You cannot see the ocean from the surfer room, but there is a wonderful outdoor kitchen/Lanai just up the stairs where we could see a mildly obstructed view of the ocean. We will def be back! "

"Our stay at Kona Bali Kai was very nice. The condo had a washer and dryer inside the unit, which was wonderful. The ocean view from the room was great. There was a pool and hot tub on site , which looked nice, but we never had a chance to try it out. The only thing that would have made it better would be an air conditioner."

"I loved my stay in the bamboo cabin at Gingerhill Farms! The staff was so sweet and helpful and the cabin suited my purposes perfectly. The grounds are a gorgeous lush forest full of fruit trees that is so lovely to walk around. I would recommend it to everyone who has an appreciation of nature and the outdoors :) "
