The house is clean and nicely decorated. It was just large enough for 3 adults and one tween. The smaller bedroom is pretty small but had a closet to store clothes in. The waterfall shower was wonderful. We didn't read carefully that there is no air conditioning, but Travis let us know that leaving the windows open would help and even though we were there during a significant heat wave, we were comfortable. Travis was always timely and clear with his communications. The only issues we had were that the filtered water spout at the sink in the kitchen was very loose and we had to hold it at the base to turn it on and off to keep it from dislodging - but it was super nice to have. Also, the backyard was overgrown . Neither of these things were that important to us so we did not mention it to Travis, though I am certain that if we had, he would have remedied them right away. Overall, it was a great stay.

2 person rental
This is a nice little place if you’re traveling on a budget. It has a fenced in back yard, that was great for our dogs, traveling with us. The second bed is extra firm/hard. My kids did not like sleeping on it. The washer and dryer are nice and are easy to work. The owner was professionally responsive to most issues that arose. However, when I booked my stay, the listing showed a hot tub under amenities. The owner did not want to provide any compensation for leaving early, due to the property not having the hot tub.
Places you can see, are clean. However I dropped something behind the trunk in the master and it was filthy. The silver ware drawer has dirt and hairs in the drawer. When telling the owner of these untidy issues (also wanting to send him pictures to show), he said that he knew better and accused me of black male. There is no written check procedures and no place does this listing show where a fire extinguisher is located on the property.
The neighborhood is nice and quiet and is very convenient. He is very hospitable, with coffee, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, and such. He has some of the cupboards labeled to help you find items easily.
I say “2 person stay” because the water pressure is amazing but the hot water runs out fast. Our family of 4 could not shower without allowing breaks in between.
Do not check out early, as VRBO stated they could not do much about the hot tub issue, since I left the property. So always stay until you contact VRBO.
Everything was pretty good until our last day. Construction folks showed up at 7am knocking on the door to pass through the house. One guy actually walked in without knocking first. Power tools going all morning. With no A/c there should have been floor fans in the house for roms without ceiling fans so we actually ended up having to buy one at Wal-Mart. Yard not in good shape but apparently they are redoing it and adding a couple window air conditioners. Interior a little shabby but ok. Very well stocked with paper goods. Neighborhood a little loud with barky doggies but that's ok. Bed comfy but low to the ground. Maybe hard for older people to get in and out of. Windows very hard to open and close and few had screens for cooling house.
