For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. "Location suitable for the purpose of our trip. Breakfast at sister hotel was good.
We did not feel our room represented value for money. The people in room number 2 paid a similar amount but had more spacious accommodation.
On the second night our key cards did not work (and no, we hadn't kept them near to a phone) We were unable to access our room and the so called 24 hour help number went to voicemail. Essentially there was no help, despite the best efforts of German police who were on duty...
