"I needed a pop in overnight inexpensive place to lodge and it was very reasonable and super comfy! I slept like a baby! The owners were super nice, walked me to my room and went in and checked for me. I was staying alone so I was very greatful for that."

"If you want quiet, rustic and "homey" this is the place for you! This place is nestled in a wooded area and definitely not on a paved road....just our style! The rustic looks and decor were perfect for our personal taste. The "worst" part of the stay was the lack of cell signal (we got 1 bar of 4g most of the time) but that didn't even bother us! We enjoyed being mostly disconnected for our stay. If you like being remote with the modern conveniences of lights & running water I HIGHLY recommend this place!"

"Highly recommend!!This is one of the best vacation rentals in which my two friends and I have stayed. The porch was fabulous - early morning coffee, listening to birdsong, relaxing at twilight, enjoying a crackling fire in the fire pit...All of the essentials were provided in the kitchen. The bathrooms were spotless and well provisioned. All of the beds were very comfortable.The hosts were readily available and helped us with a couple of questions. Hope that you enjoy your stay as much as we did!"

"This was a cute little hotel, I told my husband it was shady pines from the golden girls so we were laughing every time we mentioned the hotel. Parking was tight when we returned from dinner but still worked out. Star wars fans would love the lobby Tons of sink space, plenty of pillows and Towels, I appreciate towels!! The air conditioner didn't really get the room cold and I was sweating most of the nighthad to leave the window blinds open to keep the air conditioner running also:("
Peaceful and luxurious living with spectacular views

"Mr. Small has an amazing property that is available through VRBO. It's just about a mile off the paved road, so there is very little traffic back and forth, There is a huge front porch that faces out over the valley and on to the mountains beyond. There is a high-top table with two chairs, and a separate seating area for four with two cushioned chairs and a loveseat. We spent hours there, listening to the birds, and hearing the wind flow through the giant trees. It sounded like rushing water. My wife's birdcall app identified all sorts of feathered friends. Inside, it felt more like house-sitting than renting. Anything we needed was at hand. Kitchen equipment, bathroom supplies, a big LED flashlight for stepping out at night. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets for all of our readers and phones and such. The A/C and the wi-fi were flawless. The icemaker never broke a sweat. Both bedrooms had a nice attached bathroom and a big closet with lots of storage.Bill communicated quickly and graciously with me on any questions that came up. He was a great host for us. Thank you, sir."
