"I had a great stay. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and I love that the beach is only accessible by people renting or living in the neighborhood. I was looking for a quiet getaway and I got just that. The bed was great as was the AC. Communication with owners was fantastic. I will be going back. A well-stocked kitchen and plenty of towels, comfortable beds and attentive hosts all contributed to a happy stay. The icing on the cake was the beautiful sunset at the end of the street and Roberto’s enthusiastic tour of the spectacular gardens that he and Jacqueline have created. Jaw-dropping. "The Freeboard Studio in Old Lyme was the perfect, vacation spot for me and my husband. The host truly thought of everything when renovating this space. There are basic appliances, linens, towels, cute coffee bar at the kitchenette and a pack-n-play should you need one. Paul was communicative throughout our stay, and made sure we were content everyday.Walking through the Old Colony Beach neighborhood, we felt right at home. Everyone was so respectful and kind! The beach is beautiful and very clean.I highly recommend this unit for booking!"
"The Old Lyme Inn is absolutely charming! It’s quaint, cozy, and full of character, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The entire place has such a warm, inviting vibe; I loved the mix of history and comfort throughout.
Leslie at the front desk was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and genuinely interactive, which made us feel right at home. The library with board games was such a fun touch, and the live jazz music really set the mood and added to the unique experience.
We had breakfast on our last morning, and it was delicious; definitely worth it. Parking was easy and convenient, and the location couldn’t be better, right off I-95.
