"From the moment we arrived at the hotel, everything was excellent. We were welcomed by a superb receptionist who took time to explain everything. Our room was huge with two super comfy, UK superking sized beds and a fully equipped kitchen - Fridge freezer, cooker, kettle, coffee maker, cups, plates, cutlery, kitchen roll.. Absolutely everything you could possibly need! There was a computer and a massive television, too. Breakfast, which I didn't realise was included, was great - all sorts of choices to suit most requirements - porridge, cereal, eggs, bacon, hash browns. Many people were taking theirs to their rooms to eat as space is at a premium at busy times, especially at the weekend. Bottled water and juice is available 24/7 from the fridge in the VIP room (aka the overflow breakfast room) on the 3rd floor along with a few "takeout bags" containing cookies (like Hobnobs in the UK), cereal bars and a small sweet. This was greatly appreciated for our day on the Hop on Hop Off Bus! There is a free laundry somewhere but we didn't need to find it. There are lots of pubs and restaurants close by and I would highly recommend the pub opposite, Sir John A, where we had delicious and very traditional Poutine while watching ice hockey on one of the many screens 😋"

"The location was excellent; close to parliament, grocery stores , restaurants and cafés. Very convenient. The continental breakfast was perfect. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again myself."

"For breakfast, I would recommend having boiled eggs as well and also there was just one kind of eggs-scrambled eggs every day it was kind of boring."

"Room interior is old and tired looking but it is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our room was a suite. Full kitchen was great. Only thing we needed was a spatula. Great location to restaurants, museums, and Byward Market. All walkable. We will stay here again for our next visit to Ottawa "

"clean room quick check in … parking is scarce you leave may not have a spot when you get back and restaurant is super slow in the evenings .. staff is super friendly there’s just not enough of them to support a full dining room … took two hours for dinner"
