"The staff was amazing from check in to check out. The housekeeping guy did such a great job with our room & was very friendly and helpful. The property and our newly renovated 21st floor ocean & lagoon room in the rainbow tower was very beautiful. For whatever reason the hot tub at the paradise pool was closed the whole day we used that particular pool area-not sure if that was an ongoing issue. We only wished for a microwave in room because the restaurants on property (especially Fresco!) were amazing, it would have been nice to reheat leftovers, more hot tubs, and slightly warmer pool water. "

"Do not believe the pictures. This hotel is run down and old. I reserved for 5 nights and checked out after one night. The hotel is poorly maintained. Our glass patio door fell off the rails and was blowing in the wind 11 floors above the pool below. After multiple attempts to call the front desk for help, I resorted to calling 911. Do not book this hotel."

"The room was not as clean as I would have liked upon check-in (stains on walls and curtains, hair in bathroom, spots on faucet, sand on balcony) but the staff made up for it by cleaning the room perfectly everyday. The housekeeping manager personally called to apologize which I never expected. Overall this hotel is good but what makes it great is the staff so kudos to all of them. "

"I was not told the hotel is under construction and they would start from 9-5 and we couldn’t rest at all, especially that I’m pregnant and wanted to rest more and couldn’t . There was no hot water and I called them 4 times and basically said it is what it is . They couldn’t even move us to different room. The front desk lady was rude and would just stair at you. Towels were so tough that we felt like it was scratching our body. I would not come back . "

"The apartment was quiet and everything the description was accurate. We had such a great time exploring all of the local hot spots and food. Check out the locals farmers market if ur in town worth going!"

"The house is beautiful, especially the yard and they provide pool inflatable and beach gear which was helpful. Kitchen is well equipped. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was great. However the master bed and bath are only accessible by walking outside to pool area and going back in through a separate door. Also there is no door on the master bathroom. Air conditioning in each room was wonderful. There was a very loud water hammer in the first bathroom off the kitchen whenever the toilet was flushed. Host was responsive. I was worried about the location being noisy as it backs up to a main road and the Kaneohe marine base, but it was quiet. We very rarely heard any traffic noise. Being in Kailua was great to be close to Kailua and Lanikai beaches but any activities in Honolulu or Waikiki were approx a 30 min drive. The house is close enough to walk to the water but not to a beach that you can swim at. Swimming beaches are a short drive about 10 min away. Also most of the sliding doors on the house can't be locked which was concerning to me. It seems like a safe neighborhood but I like to be able to lock up valuables. We would recommend this house and would love to visit again."

Shari provided beach chairs and towels. Shari provided information about good places to eat in the area and kept an open line of communication. We had a great stay!"
