The hotel provided us with an arrangement of desserts and a handwritten note to congratulate us -- a small act that went a long way to making Platz Hotel our favourite stay during our two-week long honeymoon. "Everything was great. Clean room, friendly staff, great location, and amenities. While the room was slightly small, it was so clean and modernly furnished nonetheless. Highly recommend this hotel for visitors. It is so close the Munich Ostbahnhof station, which is well connected to all parts of the city. I had a nice & enjoyable stay there. "

"I read reviews, good and bad before we came and it’s all true. The hotel is on a street with strip clubs and casinos and the alley way to the hotel from the street felt unsafe (drunk/ drugged groups of people every time we walked through) and there’s no security in the hotel - you don’t need a key card to go in the lift or corridors. BUT once you’re in the hotel it’s great! Friendly staff, clean, spacious room and delicious breakfast. It’s also a great location near the main station. I haven’t knocked a star off for the shady street and would stay there again."

"We were upgraded to a beautiful suite for being hotels.com silver members. Wish we could have stayed longer. It was serene and relaxing and beautiful. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful and everyone was very kind. Will definitely stay here again except for longer next time!"
