"Staff was absolutely friendly loved the warm cookie given when you check in. Bar staff very attentive and efficient. Clean room not stuffy. Only thing is to have a light by the gate when you are using your hotel card to go in and out it was kind of hard to see. Overall great service, awesome hotel."

"The lodge is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in a while .. the room was very nice and the bed so inviting!! Breakfast was very good although the seating area is not enough when most of the hotel comes down. Red hook is a nice boutiquish neighborhood with some good eats and seemed safe"
