"I was somewhat concerned there was no onsite front desk/staff available but this proved to be a non-issue. The key code was expected to arrive via email the day before our arrival but was sent the day after the reservation was made which was 5 days before arrival I believe it was. They did follow-up with 2 emails after we received the key code with contact information to use if the code had not been received. Our room was very clean, in-room coffee was available, the bed was comfortable, the price was well worth it. It appeared our room was recently completely remodeled. Other rooms I had a glimpse into also appeared to have been remodeled. A microwave and fridge and a few other basics were provided. We weren't looking for a $180+/night room with all the extras. We like to visit local eating establishments so a free breakfast was not a requirement. We chose Walden because it's location worked well for us due to the drive time from our home and this was a good geographic location to continue our 5 day weekend in Colorado from. We wanted a place to overnight that had a clean room, clean bath/shower, and clean and comfortable bed. That's exactly what they provided. We hope to be staying here on our future trips through the area."

"We met the housekeeper, very nice and the room was immaculate. We didn't get her name, but it was room #11 on September 20 - 21. The room was find, microwave and fridge, everything we needed. Best price in Grand Lake that day. The shower water could have been a bit hotter, but it was workable. Thanks!"

"Very cute and clean! It was so nice having a full kitchen. Everything was wonderful. The only issue was that it gets pretty warm & stuffy, but we opened the windows to let some fresh air in. I would absolutely stay there again!"
