"This is a fabulous small and unique boutique hotel in a great location and setting. The plane tree in the square is magnificent. The Cathedral and other main attractions are close, the whole area very walkable.

"On arrival we were greeted at the bar by a lovey gentleman whose name I believe was Wayne, he was very welcoming and great fun to talk to. The check in process was very easy and the room was everything we wanted. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the town centre. The food and service at the pub was great, certainly no complaints and we were very pleased to find “trickles” on the menu, something me and my partner were both very excited to try and they didn’t disappoint "

"Amazing! Beautiful little barn house room. Lovely sized room with excellent facilities, shower room and bath, with private conservatory on the side. Lovely garden and court yard to sit out in the evening with a little drink, enjoy the animals onsite and overlooking the wonderful sites of longleat. Amazing breakfast and very welcoming staff, keen to make the stay perfect. Cute little pub walking distance away and a stones throw from longleat park. Easy parking onsite. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again! "

"Hawthorne cottage is situated in beautiful countryside. It’s just a short walk to the village of Nunney with its castle ruins and pub beside the river. We would recommend a trip to Stourhead and Wells, both nearby. The cottage itself is very well appointed with everything you need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to go back. "
