"This hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Modern design done well. It has one of the best hotel breakfasts. Been here before and I was craving the German white breakfast sausages they had. They have a cool bar upstairs and a good gym. Would definitely stay here again."

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. We were unfamiliar with the Westend area, but really liked the neighborhood of this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the area, price and Trip Advisor reviews. We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). That being said, we also didn't think there was anything particularly outstanding about the hotel that would separate it from other hotels. But the staff was very helpful and accommodating and...

Hotel is centrally located to most everything in downtown Munich. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The only complaint is that some rooms will require one to lift suitcases up steps. Will stay here again.

Very nice place to stay in Munich. Centrally located for public transportation and in a safe area. The highlight is the breakfast spread ā make sure you take advantage of what they offer for a good start to your day. Wonderful people taking care of you, especially Avni. He and his co-workers are the best and want to see that you are happy with everything. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast!

The fact that Hotel Europa is slightly off the beaten path (though ON the tram line) counts as an advantage.
