"Good sized room and lovely conservatory restaurant with good food and service. Buffet breakfast good selection but let down by slow service and in replacing breakfast items that had run out."

"Our stay was great, we were in one of the annexes rather than the main house, it was a standard hotel room and the view was lovely. We had a long walk around the grounds, interesting to see the sports facilities. The bar in the main house was quite small but we managed to get a table and it was reasonably priced. Breakfast was good, a nice selection of foods. There were a few sports teams staying while we were there but that wasn't a problem for us at all and we didn't feel like we were in the way. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only small downside was hotel reception and parking were not clearly marked but we managed to find our way to the right place. We would definitely stay again if in the area."

The Crewe Arms Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great pub/hotel and the family room we booked was very spacious, tea and coffee available in room with biscuits and bottled water in a fridge. wifi had good signal and easy to connect to although no usb points in the room. Plenty of sockets though including by the beds. Shower was powerful and hot and tubes of soap/shampoo also supplied. Staff very friendly and accommodating, remembered our drinks for breakfast and allergies for dinner. The breakfast buffet was good with a selection of hot food, which was actually hot on a buffet, a rare find. Only recommendation would be to provide more pastries, not just pain au choc. Food in restaurant was excellent and the price was good value too, portions a nice size and presented well, shame last orders were 830pm though. Pub had a pool table, pinball machine and some other games as well. Large, free car park which was a bonus. We were in the area for a wedding and this was a prefect stop over. Highly recommend if in the location."
