"Breakfast setup felt very cramped Plates were cold so after a few minutes so was the food On arrival at breakfast on 1st day we were told you know the drill maybe he mistook us for someone else No lake view in breakfast room as they have erected a fence which cuts off the view but other than that was ok Hotel is undergoing refurbishment "

"We were all really impressed by the bedrooms styles and sizes and the fact that every room had an ensuit! The kitchen was huge and fully stocked with all cooking utensils and made a lovely atmosphere for gathering together. The sitting room was huge as was the garden making it a very comfortable stay for 8 adults."

"Breakfast was excellent the best mushrooms I have ever eaten. Room was very clean. I was slightly disappointed with the mattress as it was not the most comfortable mattress I've slept on. The home made cake was beautiful. I would stay again but not in the same bed. "

"Stayed in room 6 on the top floor for a romantic weekend away with the Mrs. The room was lovely and the bath was a really nice added extra. We had a slight issue with one of the radiators not heating which caused the room to be cold, however I called one of the provided numbers and an electric heater was provided within literally 5 minutes by a lovely girl working there. Breakfast was really nice and the staff were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend considering a stay here and room 6 was a lovely room for a romantic night away. "
