Close to the subway, but no escalator to and from subway to ground level, will be difficult when you carry tge luggage.
Also, it is very close to the fish market, this is a plus.
Great hotel to stay for solo travel, only small issue is that you cannot open a window, no air follow however is a great hotel to stay. Staff were welcoming and spoke good English, I would stay at this hotel again
Excellent location, just a few steps from Daikokucho Station, which connects to most major parts of Osaka. The only downside is that there is no coin-operated laundry machine on-site, but a public one is available within a 5-minute walk. The room size is on the smaller side, but still better than what you’d get for the same price in Singapore.
This is right next to a train station and a convenience store. It can be a little bit warm because the airconditioner is centralized but it's fine. There is no laundry in the building but there is a coin-operated laundry within walking distance. There are also good restaurants nearby. The staffs were nice and speaks good English.
Great room at a great price. Comfortable clean bed and bathroom. Perfect location right in front of the subway. Room was very hot (December) with no air conditioning. Had to keep the window open the whole week to be able to sleep... Very Hot!
Best hotel ever ! It was so close to all the markets and attractions. You could literally walk just about anywhere or take the subway ( literally right outside the hotel doors ) for one stop and be at any of the touristy places. Highly highly recommend this hotel. We booked 3 single rooms all with queen beds because we had booked at another hotel in Japan previously and found that the rooms made for “ more than one person” were tiny and not enough space, BUT I feel like one single room is perfect for two people ! It was super spacious and the shower/ bathroom are separate from the hand washing sink so perfect if someone showers while you get ready or brush teeth etc. they also offer free toiletries in the lobby. It felt super safe because you needed to show your card to even use the elevator and after 10pm need it to enter the building! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs one in this area !
Staff was very kind and thorough in explaining things.
My only annoyance of note was the noise of the ac unit. Fan speed seemed not to make a difference in the noise level. To be fair, the volume was not so significant to be more than an annoyance, but it feels worth sharing for those more sensitive.
9/10 imo
Very convenient that the subway is right outside and there's a family mart as well as a 24/7 restaurant nearby. I like that we could just grab whatever we needed by the elevator. I didn't like how small the room was; we would have to block a walkway to open our suitcases. There wasn't much space to hang towels other than right above the toilet. Also, I'm a light sleeper and was able to hear the loud cars on the streets even on the 7th floor; I didn't sleep well until I put earplugs in.
Small room but ok. Couldn't open the windows at first because there was a sign to note open the window. Air quality was therefore terrible. When we asked to change room they said it was not possible but that there was a stick that they could lend us in order to open and close the window (quite a workout to close the window).
Early check-in was possible und price was ok but when we arrived the rooms where not ready as discussed and we had to wait. Which was a little bit inconvenient as there is no real lounge area.
Room cleaning is only after 3 nights and apparently mandatory. Because we said that for one night it was not necessary and we were told we could chose cleaning also after 2 night, since we stayed 4 nights. At the end they never came to clean the room...
It is not as quiet but good walkable area, near dotonborri.
