"The bedroom and bathroom were both clean and well maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and courteous, engaging pleasantly in the sort of light conversation one appreciates in a British setting. The room itself was of a suitable size for a single traveller, and I particularly appreciated the complimentary water in the fridge. The tea and coffee station was a thoughtful addition, with a reasonable selection including both decaffeinated and regular options, though it would have benefitted from a more thorough dusting. There were a few minor areas that could be improved. The window appeared somewhat dirty, and a slightly larger bin would have been more practical. The hallways were rather narrow, which was manageable with a backpack but might prove inconvenient for guests travelling with larger suitcases. The shower was excellent and very enjoyable to use, although it may benefit from a touch more attention to limescale removal. One point of note relates to the deposit. At the time of booking, the stated pre authorisation amount differed from the £100 that was ultimately required, which could be clarified for future guests. Overall, the property was in good condition and provided a pleasant stay, with only minor refinements needed to enhance the experience further. "

"Lovely staff. It’s a very tiny room but was clean and met our needs. Walkable, safe neighborhood. Super clean, nice shower, nice soap, shampoo and ample outlets, lights and chargers. "

"I have stayed here multiple times and it is the only hotel I will use in London. The decor is stunning and so well put together. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the gorgeous staircase, you know you've picked the right place. The staff are always so attentive and more than ready to help when you need it. The door is always opened for and you're always greeted with a warm welcome. If you need anything during your stay, they will make sure you have it within minutes. Whether it's extra towels, help carrying your bags, or even booking transportation, they are there to serve you and always with a smile. The breakfast buffet is top notch and a great way to start your day before exploring the city. And you couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel is across the street from the Gloucester road Underground station which houses two of the most accessible tube lines. It makes getting around London a breeze. This is definitely the place you want to stay on your holiday."

"Breakfast not as good as previous visits, much less choice and lower quality than previous visits ie no healthy cereal option such as bran flakes/ fruit n fibre/muesli, only two sweet bakery options, no mixed berry prepped fruit fur yoghurt etc. Room clean, but dated and at double the price of a more spacious, comfortable, modern Premier Inn room. Stand friendly and welcoming. Hotel well located for local amenities and good transport links "

"Upon arrival there was no soao, shampoo (sink/shower) all bottles were empty and towels only for 2 people not for 3….reception however fixed it and next day all was in order and room spotlessly ckean sadly the following day housekeeping did not ckean very well…hotel as such is amazing in great and very convenient location so will definitely return as most staff is amazing and very helpful and breakfast also fantastic "

"The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment which is not advertised. There is no signage to redirect guests to Reception which is in the other building. Drilling and hammering began just after 9am on Friday and Saturday morning. Reception did not answer the phone when I tried to complain. At check out on Sunday morning staff did not ask if we had enjoyed our stay and when I said I wanted to complain the staff member did not show any interest. Carried our bags to the other hotel to check out and then had to take them back to where we started to leave them in the luggage room. Then had to get a member of staff to come back again when we wanted to get them back. Really disappointed as we have stayed here many times before but will think twice about booking again. "
