"Unique little place. Wasn’t sure where to stay last minute and this place had pretty good reviews compared to local hotels in Maggie Valley. I gave it a try and was actually impressed. The property manager greeted us and showed us to a cabin asked if it was ok. He waited for an answer and then told us about the local area. Really neat little town. 15 min or so from Maggie Valley and much quieter. Beds were comfy and didn’t move when my wife moved at night. Showers were really nice tiles from top to bottom. Living room was plenty for the 2 of us. Trust me I don’t normally leave a review unless I left upset. I would stay here again. Thank you for a good nights rest Wild Rest."

"The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The room itself is very basic—there was no mini fridge, and the microwave is located in the hallway near the ice machine. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room keys didn’t work the first night, and the staff member was still very pleasant even though she had to come let us in with the master key. We were able to get working keys the next day on our way out. The bathroom could have used a deeper clean, especially the walls, but overall the room was acceptable. This is a very old building with a lot of history and character, which adds to the charm. Parking was a little tricky. There was only one space left when we arrived, so we were glad all four of us rode together. The building itself is fantastic. The long porch with rocking chairs and beautiful lake views was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The lake is gorgeous, and there are plenty of enjoyable things to do and see around it."

"The home is beautiful and very cozy (even nicer than the photos show!), quite spacious, perfect for a large family or 3-4 couples. The views are also better than advertised! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return!"

"Beautiful custom cabin with every amenity you could possibly want or need. Especially loved the views from the porch of the surrounding mountains and area. Close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Hosts very kind and accommodating. Will definitely consider another stay in this lovely home. "

"If I could give it 10/5 stars I would!!! This place is absolutely awesome! The rooms were a little small but we still had room to be able to put a pack n play up in the room and not feel crowded. The creek in the back of the property was so beautiful and the shower pressure was great!!! The room was also very clean. I appreciated that with Above all though the owners were so incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a young baby with us and we were allowed to stay asleep longer than the prescribed checkout time so that we didn’t have to wake a sleeping baby. We were so grateful that this place and the ownership was so incredibly sweet! You don’t get this level of care from the bigger chain hotels. Will DEFINITELY be staying here again! These places are the type of places that should sell out all the time. "
