"What a little gem . For a 2* hostal this place was excellent. Spotlessly clean . Beautiful decor throughout with many Andalucian tiled floors . Jose was very friendly and helpful. Underground parking for 11.50€ a day close by or free on street parking ( if you can find a spot) 20 min walk to the beach or the local bus costs 60 cents each Bathroom a little small but adequate air conditioning in bedroom and beds comfortable Would definitely stay here again. Deserves a 5 * review in my opinion...

"This is my 4th visit to this hotel. The staff are very friendly, the entertainment is good. I asked for the same room as last time and I received it. Check out is 12pm therefore giving plenty of time to pack in the morning, so you don't waste the day before. It's a little way out so you would need to enjoy walking, but not massively so - it's not a hike! You can easily walk into town or down to the beach. All in all I will definitely be back."

"We enjoyed a very nice stay at Villa Esmerelda, this is a delightful villa, very well equipped with splendid views across the sea.Two points I would raise - whilst linen is changed once a week, it was up to us to strip and remake beds and to put linen out for collection. There was no other cleaning of the house arranged during our stay which, in my experience, is unusual. Secondly, there was a price list at the house of rental charges, significantly cheaper than we paid. When I queried this, I was told that Vrbo charges are high - which makes me think I will not be using Vrbo again."

"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard. And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!! "
