I mentioned this to Elizabeth at the front desk (who was extremely helpful) and she stated that when they do a lot of laundry the septic smell is more pronounced. This should have been my sign. "Absolutely loved this location. I have never stayed here before and took a chance and it was so nice. Beautiful grounds and nice quiet atmosphere. The breakfast pass at the Dunes was amazing. The only downfall is there are no elevators so if you are on the 3rd floor (like we were) you have to climb the stairs, which wasn't a problem for us but may be for some people. Definitely would stay there again."
