"This review is based on a king street view room. The motel seemed a bit run down from the outside and reception area. Really bad impression going up to the second level via construction materials and dirty, broken walkways. The door was difficult to open as it didn’t fit the doorframe and there was no way to double lock it once inside. Room was basic and clean. Super tiny bathroom with no room to move once inside. Lots of road noise through the night and bright lights that shine into the room around the curtains. Positive is it’s right on the beach and has a nice pool although it was closed when we stayed. I wouldn’t stay here again as there are nicer places at the same price point. Would be fine for a single night but not longer than that. Hopefully the more expensive rooms are nicer than the street view ones as they are basic motel rooms "

"This was a fabulous place to stay in the outer banks! We loved the beach access, amazing view, indoor and outdoor pool, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful too! We will definitely be back. I don’t think you can beat the amazing location!!"

"I been staying here the same week for 6 years. Room was clean. They got rid of the weed smokers on the first floor. The building smells better without them there. Parking was good. There is side street parking as well. They offer breakfast. It is coffee and some mini muffins. They need to improve on this. They used to have better breakfast selection. "

"The views from the deck and king size bedroom were absolutely amazing. The deck was large with comfortable furniture. We could get in the shade or sun throughout the day. It was a very short walk to the ocean and the beaches were clean and uncrowded. Watching the sun rise while having coffee and reading on that deck was so relaxing.The place was clean with all amenities provided. Anything that we needed to replenish was a very quick drive to the store. Parking was abundant and easy. My one and only suggestion would be an update on the bed. It was comfortable enough but could stand to be replaced.King bed had a connected bathroom which was nice and the queen bed had the bathroom and laundry right across the hall - easy access.Kitchen had all necessary items to cook. I reserved the same week for next year - it is a hidden gem and super affordable."
