"A very pleasant place to stay within 15 minutes walk of Lille station and in a superb location just two minutes walk from the Grand Place. Makes an ideal base for visiting the city and the preserved retro style works very well and gives a great feel. The room we stayed in was comfortable, tidy and clean and kept so throughout our stay. The same applies to the bathroom which had an easy to use shower. It was pleasantly quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed three nights and had breakfast at the hotel on the final morning. This consisted of two pieces of baguette and a small croissant & pain au chocolate. Butter & jam were provided & there was also a choice of ham & cheese, fruit & yogurt. The cost was €14 per person & it was very filling. Some extras were available at additional cost. There were several places to eat nearby. Our room also had a phone charger fitting so we didn’t need an adapter plug. Don’t know if that is standard in all rooms. All in all it was a most enjoyable experience and we would definitely stay here again if we visit Lille, which is a laid back, chilled, relaxing city."
