"The room was clean, fresh, and filled with natural light, though the shower and sink could use some repairs. The pool area was well maintained and cleaned daily, with comfortable seating. Beach towels were always clean and regularly restocked. It would be better if the private beach was limited to hotel guests instead of allowing cruise visitors. The hotel has a charming colonial feel overall. Food at the main restaurant and coffee shop is overpriced compared to better options in the city, but the small Asian restaurant stood out because the sushi was consistently well made. The location is excellent. About a 10-minute walk to the Fish Fry market and just 3 minutes to the downtown area, with plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s also within walking distance of the quieter, less crowded historical center with a rum distillery, art galleries, and chocolate and cigar factories."

"Regular Holiday Inn right across the road from Junkanoo Beach next to a very busy (and loud) intersection. Spent a whole week here in March (1 adult+1child). Rooms were comfy and had mini fridge and microwave which was great, so we didn’t have to eat out for lunch and supper every meal. Breakfast was better than expected- liked the overnight oats, waffles, sausages and hash browns. Water from their machine didn’t taste great but bottled water and other drinks are available for purchase and having access to free coffee, hot chocolate, etc. all day was great. Housekeeping was also great! Everything was cleaned and restocked daily. All major Nassau attractions and Super Value grocery store are within walking distance (5-25min). Only used taxi for airport and Atlantis. Small but great pool with nice loungers and across the road, there is a little beach hut with loungers just for Holiday Inn guests (first come, first serve). Between the road and music from the beach bars, it can be quite noisy. Also found that part of the beach very dirty. Staff were extremely friendly and I found the actual hotel clean. Great views especially if you go all the way up the outdoor staircase."

"The whole family loved the vacation, even though the children preferred the pool above everything else. I really didn't understand them with the beautiful blue ocean right there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel store was a good place to pick up a few additional items or a snack. There were so many options for eating. All of the restaurants were top notch. It was very convenient having a Starbucks inside the hotel. It was easy to get around the property using the shuttles and everything was within walking distance if the mood hit us to walk. I, especially, liked the water park. The lazy river required a little paddling, but it was still a lot of fun. The water slides were amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and curteous. The rooms were cleaned daily. The children already want to go back for another trip."

"This little hotel has its charms, with decor and beautiful bird in the foyer. The rooms are dated, but clean. The location is great if you want to be smack in the downtown tourist area. The hotel has a nice small pool. The upper sun deck would be a lovely place to hang out, but loungers and chairs needed repair. "
