Location, prices
The very central and spacious apartment is located in the heart of the village of Sanlucar de Barrameda - the most original of the 3 quarters of the Barrio bajo. Absolutely centrally located between the beach (8 min.) And pedestrian area / center (3 min.), 2 min. away from the market. The price is for up to 6 people (incl. Children). More are not allowed! From the 5th, adult person we charge a supplement of 10 € per person / per day for the expenses. The apartment is for you, before and after the on (from 16 clock) or Departure (until 11 o'clock) prepared and cleaned. We charge € 150 to pay in cash on arrival at my uncle. Parking for the residents is behind the house. There are 3 heating fans (2 ceiling fans and a floor fan with timer), as well as fans (Dyson) available. NEW is an air conditioner

There are 3 bedrooms (two with twin beds and one with two single beds). Each of the sleeping rooms has a fan (2 ceiling fans), living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a balcony. 1 en-suite bedroom, the other 2 rooms share a newly refurbished bathroom in the corridor in 2019. The parents' evening has a bath with shower wall toilet and a bidet. The air conditioning can be set to fan or heating mode.
Kitchen and laundry
The kitchen is completely furnished: - large fridge with freezer (new in 2019) - Dishwasher (new in 2019) - 4 hobs plus hob - Microwave - toaster, juicer, etc.
A washing machine is located in one of the bathrooms. The clothes can be used on the Sotea (the classic flat roof on the 5. Floor with great views over Sanlucar) or on the balcony to dry (clothes horse available). The clothes are drying fast, but beware! Fasten well, you are there close to the sea, at times there is gusty wind.
The place and the life
Sanlucar is still a secret tip for Germans or Englishmen - here it draws mainly Spaniards, which makes the mood in the evening in the place seem particularly exuberant and keeps prices at a relatively low level. 2 people can eat and drink generously for less than 15 euros. Families with children cope well with life in the city's many tapas bars and restaurants; the Spaniards are incredibly tolerant of children and their vociferous game. The center consists of a large square with adjacent pedestrian zone. There they stroll through the streets in the evening, eat tapas and sit outside until midnight, without annoying car traffic.

In terms of culinary delights, the fish restaurant on the sea should be mentioned, which is even recommended in the Michelin Guide.
Whether you shop at the fish, meat and vegetable market directly opposite and take care of yourself, or you drive in the evening in the pedestrian area (about 4 minutes on foot) from one bar to the next, both are a special experience. A highlight in the morning (open until about 1:30 pm) is the daily market, where you can buy all sorts of fresh Mediterranean fish and Andalusian meat specialties. You should definitely try the lard pastry Churros & Kroketas (booth next to the market!) The products on the market are all local, fresh and very reasonably priced! Meat usually comes from animal welfare. The quality compared to Germany is amazing.
Weather, festivities and useful accessories
From May to October it is warm summer. In spring, the SEMANA SANTA place and the FERIA DE SANLUCAR place. In July / August it is very hot during the day. Therefore, a siesta is recommended, or a longer beach stay - WITH UMBRELLA (available)! Beach umbrella and beach chairs are at your disposal, please leave completely.
getting there
Bus: The bus station is about 300 meters from the apartment. By bus you can u. a. Visit Cadiz, Seville and Jerez or arrive from the airports. Please note that you have to drive from the airport to the city and change there. We are happy to help with the search. Especially interesting if you want to travel with Ryanair via Sevilla from November to February. Taxi: From the nearby airport Jerez a taxi costs about 45 € to the front door. Car (best book car from Germany): To Jerez airport drive exactly half an hour (30 km) Distance Seville about 90 km on the highway (Attention toll! halfway from Las Cabezas ...).
Beaches in the area
If you have a rental car, you can also visit the surrounding beaches Note on the return that there are parking spaces for residents and guests behind the house, but that they are "abused" by "foreign parkers" - especially in the evenings and at weekends. The beach of Sanlucar is reached in a few minutes. It is equipped with bars and a small restaurant during the holiday season. Neighboring quieter beaches are: In La Jara (about 3km - district of Sanlucar), In Chipiona (about 8 km away) is called "Tres Piedras", Conil (about 30km); The place is very picturesque and rather touristy. The whole route to Tarifa delights with many beautiful beaches. The Doñana Natural Park is directly opposite the village on the other side of the "Bay" of Sanlucar (reachable with a small crossing). Barbate has a beautiful beach and some of the best tuna restaurants in Spain.

Cycling is very popular in the fall, and winter months. The roads are quiet, the climate in January still very pleasant. Car drivers considerate. We are happy to provide Tracks and Tracks (GPX). Who wants to go hiking or cycling in the hinterland, the Grazalema Mountains between El Bosque and Ronda in an hour by car.
Attractions
On the way there or back, a visit to downtown Jerez de la Frontera is mandatory. You park there best in the public parking garage at the roundabout in front of the old town with the Parador. If you continue driving it can be very tight! Who wants to rattle off the Andalusian white villages, is pleased about the good transport links with a highway that leads to the outskirts. Gibraltar (England) - Please take your identity card with you Tarifa - Surf Mecca also has boat trips to dolphins Barbate - Spain's largest tuna terminal Seville - the cathedral, the center and the urban nightlife Medina - nice little place on a hill Ronda - the oldest bullfighting arena in Spain, birthplace of the Guardia Civil, El Tajo gorge and the Arab quarter Arcos de la Frontera s. The apartment is furnished with both modern and antique furniture. Everything is clean and convenient. The kitchen is well equipped. It is a great walk to the beach and in the other direction there are many great restaurants, bars, cafes.
Firstly, the location is ideal. There is the bus station and an Aldi supermarket only 5 mins away on foot. It is 10-15 minute walk from the beach and downtown Sanlucar.
The apartment is well kept, clean and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The wifi and TV worked well. The kitchen was adequate for our needs so we could easily prepare meals. We were also very pleased to see clean towels, a dishwasher and washing machine. We also made use of the beach chairs and umbrella.
The communication with Patricia, the host, was good. However, we would suggest a guide for the apartment with information about where to put the rubbish and local facilities/attractions etc.
We would definitely return to this place and recommend it for groups/families. Thank you Patricia.
Excelente todo, tanto el piso como la propietaria, Patricia, siempre pendiente de todo.La ubicación es fantástica, cerca de todo, tanto del centro como de la playa.La vivienda tiene todo lo necesario y más, y las camas eran muy cómodas.El tío de la propietaria, Miguel, es quien nos recibió y es fantástico, muy agradable y servicial. Lo recomendaré siempre sin dudar y volveremos seguro.
Een gezellig appartement met een klein terras. Super gelegen tussen strand en centrum. Parkeren op straat in februari was geen probleem. Prima contact met eigenaresse Patricia.
The location of the apartment is perfect for the centre of town, local bars, local shops and beach.
Patricia and her family responded very quickly and resolved a couple of minor issues as soon as they were able.

Waren dieses Jahrf zum 2. mal in diesem wunderschönen Appartement in dieser so ursprünglich schönen spanischen Stadt.Wohnung pcobello sauber in dieser Top Lage.
Sowohl vor der Reise hat uns die Besitzerin bei unseren Nachfragen bezüglich der momentanen Corona Situation tatkräftig unterstützt wie auch bei unserem Aufenthalt hat uns der vor Ort lebende deutschsprechende Onkel bei Kommunikationsproblemen tatkräftig unterstützt.
Vielen Dank dafür und hoffentlich,wenn es die Pandemie zulässt, bis zum nächsten Jahr
Sowohl Lage wie Sauberkeit und Austattung und auch die Betreuung durch die Eigentümer waren sehr gut.Ich weiss von was ich spreche da ich mittlerweile schon 20 Jahre jedes Jahr im Süden Ferienwohnungen miete.Wenn möglich würden wir nächtstes Jahr gerne wiederkommen.
Die Wohnung wurde uns vom Onkel der Inhaberin, welcher deutsch spricht, übergeben. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet. In der Küche war sogar ein Geschirrspüler, das eine Bad ist neu renoviert und im Wohnzimmer ist eine Klimaanlage. Die Konversation mit der Inhaberin war sehr freundlich. Vor dem Haus sind kostenfreie Parkplätze. Die Wohnung befindet sich auf halbem Weg zwischen dem Hauptplatz mit unzähligen Restaurants und dem Strand ( beides ist in etwa 5 - 8 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt). Das Wohnhaus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Gleich ums Eck ist ein Aldi und nicht weit entfernt ist ein Mercadona. Eine Bäckerei befindet sich ums Eck. Der Strand ist für Familien mit Kleinkindern super geeignet, da es sehr flach ins Wasser geht und kleine hohen Wellen kommen. Ich kann diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen und werde sicher wieder einmal in dieser schönen Stadt Urlaub machen und kann mir auch vorstellen, wieder diese Wohnung zu buchen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Muy bien situado
El apartamento es tal y como lo describen ,tiene de todo y es muy comodo tanto para ir a la playa como a la zona de tapeo ,el tener el aire acondicionado en la sala nos vino muy bien porque nos hizo bastante calor la semana que estuvimos y por supuesto los ventiladores tambien ayudan.
La persona encargada de recibirnos ( el tio de Patricia ) fue muy puntual y atento con nosotros
A pesar de que tuvimos un problema con la tarifa de limpieza porque no estaba actualizada cuando contratamos el apartamento conseguimos llegar a un acuerdo y podemos decir que hemos estado muy agusto
