"Immaculate accommodation. Wonderful location. I wish the AC was on when we visited. We had the windows open and were bitten by mosquitoes as we slept. Other than that and the miscommunication on check in time, the place was enjoyable."
"We had an excellent stay. Everything from checking in to checking out was top-notch. This was a great location and all the sites were walkable. Would definitely stay here again."
"A cossy hotel with great service and excellent rooms. Close to every location you need to know in Firenze.

"Hotel lobby is not on the ground floor. Entrance is a bit difficult to locate. Also, entrance is not welcoming. However, if you make it to the lobby on an upper floor…You will LIKE it.
Public areas & rooms are old European style.
Hotel is clean and well cared for.
Bathrooms are modern and functional.
My room was LARGE and comfortable.
Breakfast was very tasty and selections ample.
Hotel is on Piazza Republica. The music in summer plays until about 2am. I loved it.
If you want peace & quiet=ask for a room NOT facing the piazza. LOCATION is Very Good for all touristic purposes. Bed was excellent."
"only problem was a/c- and it was the hotest Florence had been in years. The rooftop bar was excellent. Great people, the staff was pleasant and attentive. Go there!"
"Our stay at Hotel Calimala was nothing short of incredible. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Florence, just a short walk from the Duomo, Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, and some of the city’s most elegant shops and restaurants. It made exploring the city effortless.
The hotel itself was immaculately clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail felt intentional. What truly set it apart, though, was the service. Gemma was exceptional - warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Hotel Calimala will definitely be our go-to in Florence."
"We loved this hotel, it was clean, it was large, staff was the most helpful and kind, and it was so comfortable. We were finally able to get some really good sleep on our trip. The only issue there is no nearby transportation. Florence has a bus shuttle that has stops closer to other hotels that we found about later from a member in our tour group to Cinque Terre. Also they are doing construction work in the road in the area, so the taxis have to go around, making it more expensive. Beautiful views from the terrace!! "
