Beautiful property, nice breakfast, comfortable room and especially liked the lobby as we I was traveling with friends and we could congregate there.

The food was amazing, the amenities were great and the rooms were super modern, clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back. We traveled with our 2 years old toddler and had a blast. The hotel was very accommodating to all of our needs and it was truly a great time for us.

The rooms were clean and spacious with beautiful details. Beds were comfortable. Shower was amazing. The location was perfect. The check in location was tricky to find- but if you go in the Meta Sky bar and all the way through to the back on the bar on the top floor you will find it. Or use the call button at the hotel entrance and they will come find you. For US guests be aware top sheets and wash cloths aren’t to be found - this seems to be the case in most of the places we stayed in Italy...

Very beautiful, modern and well-maintained property with a very helpful staff. The surrounding area is beautiful - and it’s an easy bus ride into Bolzano.

Rooftop deck was very cool, but only room for 4 sitting. 2 bedroom suite was nice. Bedrooms were adjoining so had to pass thru one to get to the other. Overall, very interesting hotel, as described. Would recommend for those looking for something different.

One of my favorite hotel stays anywhere - the setting is stunningly beautiful, the pool & spa were amazing, the service was outstanding, the property immaculately maintained, and the service from everyone was perfect. Incredible stay and highly recommend!

An amazing property. The family that owns this property truly makes sure your every need is met. The breakfast was wonderful. The pass they gave us for the bus system and lift/ train was very helpful. Getting to the hotel was a challenge with our car; however, once we arrived they were very accommodating. The apartment was very comfortable. Loved having a washer. Everything we needed was available.

Hotel Greif is a lovely properly. Old town Bolzano is not that large and the hotel is right there off of Walthaplaz. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station and 7 minutes to the bus station-they are adjacent to one another. There are plenty of great restaurants just steps away. This was a lovely place to stay, the rooms were spotless and equipped, the service staff was friendly and the morning breakfast was a hit, fabulous selection and delicious. Also as a perk they gave my wife and I a free pass to take the bus, life and mountain train to take us to hiking trails. Also of note, the view from the sixth floor which is where the restaurant, breakfast and spa facilities are located is beautiful and the view outstanding !!!

My wife and I chose Castel Hortenberg for our stay in Bolzano, and we were blown away from the moment we arrived through our departure. Secure parking with private gates. Upon arrival we were greeted with Prosecco, and this type of care and attention was given to us the entire time by Tommaso and the other staff.
