The breakfast both the Japanese style and western style restaurants were excellent, both the food quality and services. The shuttle bus to from the subway station is great, it is running like a clock, not missing a second. The location is right next to the imperial palace and close to some top attractions in the west side of Kyoto. Highly recommended."

"This was such a cute little quaint hotel! The breakfast is the only thing I don’t think is worth it, especially considering it’s so close to many restaurants that you can just walk 10-12 minutes to the Nishiki market or the Terramachi market."

It is in a nice quiet residential area within walking distance of one famous shrine (Kinkaku-ji) but has a few lovely local shrines all around. Communication and directions were excellent. We loved it!"
