Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Parking was fine. Motel is very old and room was as clean as one could expect in an older room. Appliances needed repair.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days and everything was just great. At first we were booked at a room without a kichenette (my mistake, I forgot to call beforehand to inform them that we wanted a room for cooking) but nonetheless, they agreed to transfer us right away on another room which we appreciate a lot. Overall, the place was clean and well maintained, and the owners were very warm and welcoming. 10/10 will definitely book our stay here again next time ❤️

The location is perfect, right at the beach and in the middle of all the food and drinks. It needs some maintenance and the shower was like a sandblaster.
The host is very friendly and helpful. Parking on the property is a giant plus, since the town has literally no parking spots left close to 11 am unless you want to walk half an hour to the beach.
Jade and Tierney (sorry if I spelled this wrong) were fantastic! They were so friendly, funny, and kind! The lodge was a very convenient location! Right next to the beach and many bars and restaurants! It was clean and spacious. Will definitely return next summer!
I like the fact that the rooms were clean. The staff was excellent and the view was beautiful. Some updating would benefit this property

We enjoyed our stay at Raccoon Lodge Motel. The location was excellent, being across the street from the lake and within walking distance to many great eateries.
The operators were very kind and flexible with our needs of travelling with our cats. They were very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival as well.
The motel is dated and could use some upgrading but the room was spacious and clean. Overall, we would stay there again.

The Lodge is in an excellent location, right across the street from the beach. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It's an older motel and it's definitely a bit run down, but you can't beat the location.
The location is fantastic for sure. It needs a lot of updating & new & modern furniture, bedding, etc would help. The couple running the motel are fantastic & accomodating.
It was exactly what i was expecting. It is a dated motel, but the price was right, and the location was excellent. The room was clean, the service was fantastic.

Fabulous location and staff, couldn’t ask for better.
My family and I had an excellent time.
Clean but needs some updating and repairs.
Very friendly couple at the front counter that gave great service! Had a few pleasant conversations with them and they were helpful and accommodated us on the few things we needed. Excellent location close to the beach and right on the main strip. Was a little noisy at night, but that’s to be expected for the location. Overall a great stay and I will definitely be back!
Still needs some updating but super clean and comfortable

Was there for a little weekend getaway. The staff was incredible, very friendly, upbeat and accommodating! While not the best stocked kitchenette we had everything we needed to make simple meals. We were warned of noise coming from across the alley from the bar and the band playing but it certainly wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. I would stay again during the quiet season only because I would imagine being right across from the lake it would get noisier in the busy summer months and I would want someplace where I wouldn’t hear loud car and motorcycle noise. But if you wanted to be close to the action and very reasonably priced and clean this is the place to be.
This is a 1950s era motel/hotel. It is clean and friendly, and the hosts are great. You can't get a better location near the beach in Sylvan Lake. The section I stayed in is of cedar log panabode construction, which I found pleasant. I was told it is scheduled to be replaced by a condo develpment next year. They are hoping the cedar logs will be for sale.
