I stayed in a twin room my first night, and the regular room was just fine, thank you.
However, because my wife was joining me, I upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. It was worth the extra expense! The view was great! We both loved our stay!

"Awesome place to stay. I want to thank the Housekeeper especially on the fourth floor as she found my shirt after I checked out and was able to return to pick it up ( It was my favorite shirt). Third time staying here. The beds are so comfortable that its easy to sleep thru the mornings. Thanks again 4 a great stay."
"Get a room with a view of the old palace wall. Be careful of the bill in any recommened restaurant (we were double charged for wine) out side of the property. Breakfast was nice."

"We had 2 separate rooms on same floor for a family of 4. This hotel was fun and quirky with all its artistic additions and decor. Breakfast was plenty with lots of selection. Turkey is full of smoking and this hotel had a scent of it coming from the foyer or front door where the front staff of all the hotels would gather to smoke. That would be my only complaint of the location but it was everywhere so we got used to it I think. The room was warm for us and couldn’t figure out how to use the AC...
"This small and cozy property was tucked in an alley way just behind the Hagia Sophia. The breakfast offered was a pleasant variety. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the grand area of the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet mosques. There is a small convenience shop just around the corner. It is steps away from the city tram, bus stops, shopping and restaurants. "

"Das Personal ist sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist super, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer waren nett und sauber, teilweise haben sie auch einen kleinen Balkon. Wir würden beim nächsten Besuch wieder hier buchen."

"L'hotel black pearl est une extension de l'hotel black tulip. Les employés sont géniaux. L'emplacement est idéal.
Seul bémol, vu que c'est une extension on se doit de se rendre au black tulip pour le petit déjeuner mais c'est vraiment un détail. C'est à 5m. Le tram, les visites importantes, l'ambiance, les bazars, tout est à proximité "
