"Clean room and bathroom. Massive bed. Really soft pillows 😕. Air con was good but randomly cut in during the night so room was freezing. Breakfast is expensive. Brand new hotel with good sea view"

"A little tired, but convenient location for station, theatre and harbour side restaurants. Inconsistent reception staff, one exceptionally helpful, the other, rude and abrupt. Good location and nice service for a light lunch that didn’t break the bank."

"Wonderful hotel. We often stay in Moxys but this one tops all. The lobby, bar, spacious room, pleasant & helpful staff, good vibes. Food was good & prices reasonable. Five nights..all great."

"It’s a lovely hotel. A little bit dated now, in places, but overall really nice in a nice setting and location. The staff were friendly although there were a few occasions things were asked for and not delivered on. I put this down to them being young and maybe not fully engaged with their roles. Could maybe do with some senior leadership to raise standards to where they could easily be. I would recommend and I would stay again. Just manage your expectations. Don’t expect the best. But overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I paid for breakfast both mornings. The food quality was great but often things were missing and not replenished. A little disappointing at £16 pp price point."

"Very pleasantly surprised by the Trecarn Hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book an extra night. Our experience certainly didn’t reflect many of the ratings and reviews we had read. The location is amazing, our room was clean and exactly as advertised, and it had a modern TV. The hotel was quite hot for some reason, but fans were provided, which helped. The staff were lovely especially the chambermaids, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. We’ve paid twice the price elsewhere and not had as good an experience."

"The room was nice and clean, the breakfast was amazing, the view was gorgeous and the location is perfect. I suggest if you need hypoallergenic bedding that you request at the time of reserving, it’s not standard to have it included in the room."
