"After reading the reviews on google, I didn't expect much from this hotel. It was just somewhere to house us at night because we knew we would be out and about the whole day elsewhere. So here is a main problem we had, the hotel had this overly strong pungent smell that seems to cling to the walls. I had to spray my poopourri (because I wasn't gonna use my perfume) all over the room and even that didn't help in the long run. We stayed on the 5th floor and it was extremely warm in our room. AC wasn't working (or we just couldn't find the power button) The parking space were decent and it felt secured. The amenities was just okay. The staff were good. All in all it was an okay hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. I'm just thankful that our car wasn't broken into and hotel beds didn't have bed bugs. "

"On 3 occasions staff entered my room without permission. For example, on my last day at the hotel, around 9:00 AM, the cleaning staff called out "House Keeping" AFTER she had entered my room. I called the front desk and asked for the manager. A woman who barely spoke english claimed to be the manager. When questioned her claim, she said she was "sort of the manager". I told her that I wanted to speak with the HOTEL manager. She forwarded my call to HOUSE CLEANING manager! House cleaning told me that they would relay my message to the hotel manager. I never got a call back. I have been going to this Hotel since the 1990s. It has slowly but surely become run down. Now even the service is bad. No more Nikko!"
