"Lovely location, peaceful atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable had all you needed for your stay. Lovely big bath towels! Breakfast was ok, could improve, scrambled eggs not good being kept warm, not much choice on the continental side. We didn’t use the bar but was told we could take drinks and food to the room if wanted. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a great welcome and were shown to our fabulous room. Spacious and well decorated, it had a great spread of tea and coffee with real milk in the fridge! Comfortable bed and new, good quality bedding. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. Sofa and desk for daily activities. Tha bathroom had the best walk in shower setting we have seen so far! Great pub with excellent food and drinks selection. But what it made it really special was the staff, customer service was really excellent, and provided with a smile."

"The listing photos really do not do Lesley’s house justice. The house is really lovely and much larger than anticipated. It is spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything one could need, from books, to games and maps and magazines. "We spent 2 nights in Wells in Emily’s place. It was a perfect spot from which to enjoy all the things Wells had to offer. Emily was communicative, went out of her way to make us comfortable my allowing us to check in early and out late, left some nice snacks and everything we needed for our time there. The cottage was nicely furnished and decorated, clean and modern."

"The location alone was fantastic (in our case, a couple plus dog),set in a working farm, surrounded by acres of fields and woodland, overlooking Wells cathedral. Blessed with general good weather it was idyllic to sit out on the evening and just chill. Wells was a really lovely city, spectacular cathedral and Bishops Palace. Our host was at the end of a phone (on site) when required and any minor wear and tear issues are expected and trivial. Overall, this was a great short break, unique to us but hopefully not the last time as we would definitely stay again and recommend the Knave to all potential customers."

"Excellent location 10 mins walk to Cathedral and High Street. Nice easy parking right outside property. Quiet and very little noise from Vets below. Convenience store 2 min walk away. Large rooms and lovely shower with fluffy towels."
