"A great location in Spello. A bit away from the main tourist area down below. Still close to plenty of restaurants. Near to a parking area and close to the trailheads of some hiking trails. And a fantastic rooftop terrace to unwind at the end of the day. Grazie Walter and Sonora"
"The hotel was absolutely wonderful. If you’re reading this, chances are you’re an American who, like me, knew little about Spello, Italy before booking. Trust me—you won’t regret staying here. While we didn’t dine at the on-site restaurant, it offers incredible views. The location is also very convenient—perched at the top of the hill, it rewards you with stunning scenery (and a bit of a workout getting there).
My only small disappointment was that we requested a check-out just one hour later, since our train wasn’t leaving until later in the day, but the staff wasn’t able to accommodate—even when I offered to pay for the extra time. Still, overall, it was a truly lovely stay. "

"The appartment was perfectly located - on the edge of Spello, so very quiet, but within a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. The appartment was full of character and the view high up from the terrace was spectacular. Perfect for a leisurely brunch. Manuela met us on arrival and gave us a very wsrm welcome and provided helpful information about our accommodation and Spello. She was excellent at communicating with us before and during our stay. Spello is a really beautiful place - a real gem, and a great centre for exploring the local area. Assisi is a short drive away (go early to avoid the crowds) and there are spectacular views from Mount Subasio, good walking too. We would happily return. Thank you Manuela."
"We had a wonderful stay at B&B Villamena! It is thoughtfully decorated down to each detail, has a beautiful patio with a refreshing swimming pool, and a generous and delicious breakfast. The location was perfect. Free parking across the street and an easy short walk to the main parts of Spello. Spello itself is a gorgeous and charming town! One of the best I have visited in all of Italy. The host had great recommendations for restaurants, wineries and excursions in Umbria. The room was marvelous with a comfortable bed, great shower and AC, and nice and quiet. Quite spacious as well. We loved our visit and hope to return again! "

"Nori mirrors the impressive, special home which she was kind enough to allow us to use for five wonderful days in Spello. On multi floors, very clean, and with a comfortable bed, shower, and washer/dryer, it seemed a perfect temporary residence. But then you add the many snacks and drinks which Nori thoughtfully places in the apartment, the wealth of information she provides, her almost instant availability, the kindness and knowledge of her translator, and the magic of Spello, and you have a perfect vacation stop. Nori and her translator were waiting for us on the corner of the apartment's street and after checking us in and giving us lots of valuable information, they joined us in our car and took us to the free parking lot outside the city's walls. There is nothing more for which we could have asked of her. Thank you, Nori."
