"The Mountain Star Lodge is a nature lovers' oasis nestled in the midst of a bustling Austin suburb. The lodge is set back from the road, on a hilltop overlooking a lush green valley full of birds and othe lical wildlife. The accomodations are rustic, but clean and spacious. The small kitchenette was an added bonus. The setting is quiet and peaceful, while being just a couple minutes from upscale shopping, entertainment, and offices. The proprietor "Sonny" was friendly and accomodating....

"Just what the family needed....Lakefront fun in the sun, we loved the kayaks and boat dock. Our ausitinite friends came over on their boat for dinner. The home was perfect size for our family...we will book again next time we are in town!"

"David is a gracious and responsive host! He gave a personal tour of the property upon our arrival which was very helpful. The property is beautifully appointed and VERY WELL EQUIPPED! As a group of 17, we had plenty of dishes, towels, toiletries, etc. The lower level game room was fabulous! We had a few brief showers during our stay so we made good use of that space (with 7 kids-it saved the day!) But, the highlight of our stay was the outdoor space. Pool, hot tub, "treehouse", pickle...
